Paths, patios, planting and water give an outdoor space its character. We consider the built surfaces and living landscape together so the property works as one setting.
HARDSCAPE
The structure outdoors.
Hardscape is the built part of the landscape: patios, pavers, entry walks, pathways, site walls and gathering areas. Material choices, layout and transitions connect the home to the pool and the rest of the property.
We coordinate the selected scope with the project team, considering access, elevations, drainage interfaces and the construction sequence before finished surfaces go in.
SOFTSCAPE
The living landscape.
Softscape is the planting that brings the property to life: trees, palms, shrubs, groundcover and specimen cactus. Scale, placement, shade and the relationship to the surrounding architecture guide the layout.
Planting and irrigation requirements are coordinated with the outdoor plan, giving entry areas, courtyards and poolside spaces a consistent direction.

THE ENCLAVES / FRONT ENTRY
Start with a clear plan.
The original entry landscape plan brings hardscape, planting and arrival together. This drawing shows the design intent, separate from completed-project photography.
